SAWS reveals Boerne Stage construction plans

Responding to an open records request, San Antonio Water Systems (SAWS) has released information about water/sewer main construction planned for Boerne Stage Road. The new mains will serve extensive development planned for the area, including:

• A 127-acre tract on which Continental Homes of Texas will build up to 495 houses
• the 183-acre River Rock Ranch tract
• the 124-acre Southbound Ranch tract
• the 150-acre Balcones Creek tract

SAWS withheld information related to a utility service agreement with Bitterblue, Inc., and asked the Attorney-General for an opinion as to the legality of the withholding. Maps showing the development tracts, and copies of the utility service agreements, are in this 4.1 megabyte PDF document.
