Site clearcut for Home Depot

Residents living near the intersection of Culebra and Loop 1604 were stunned recently by extensive clearcutting of a Home Depot construction site. The project is exempt from our City's tree preservation ordinance and, in fact, claims grandfathering back to the 1980's even though the property has lain dormant since that time.
