Site near Huebner Creek decimated

Residents living in the Hunter's Creek neighborhood are concerned by the recent clear-cutting of a development site at 2914 Olmos Creek Circle. Once, many heritage trees occupied the heavily-treed site behind the HEB at Huebner and N.W. Military. Those living adjacent to the creek are especially concerned about increased stormwater runoff and flood elevations. The project is exempt from our City's tree preservation ordinance.
