Red Oak in King William Park

Red Oak in King William Park

This magnificent Red Oak in King William was removed in the Spring of 2009. According to one of our members, "The big old trees in the park are collapsing. The red oak dropped a gigantic limb. It took days for the tree people to cut it up and remove it. We all said 'What if this had happened during the Fair?!' All the big old trees are being taken out. Some have just toppled over - crash - the entire tree flat on the ground."
