Sending Written Testimony to City Council

Instead of appearing and speaking in person, testimony may be written and sent to City Council before its meeting. You may address any topic that could be discussed during "Citizens to be Heard", or testify for/against a particular agenda item.

Your testimony will be entered into the official record, and may be read aloud by the City Clerk, provided it is received before the deadline. The deadline is the time specified on the City Council Agenda for your particular item.

For regular agenda items, the deadline is 9:00 am. For zoning cases, the deadline is generally 2:00 pm.. For the "any topic you wish to address" Citizens to be Heard segment, the deadline is 6:00 p.m.. Be sure to check the agenda to make sure.

Written Testimony Forms: English, Español

Your testimony may be sent by fax, U.S. mail, e-mail, or hand delivery. Send written testimony to:
